Dancing at the Ocean View

Hi Jo!

I'm so happy to hear all of your good news about your health.  It would be super for it to continue to improve.

Living on Earth is better than anything because you get to eat food, smell flowers and hug.  I do miss hugs and one day when it's your time, I will be here to give you the biggest hug ever.  I will never let you go.

I really haven't let you go, Jo.  I chose you so many years ago and you are still my girl.   You were the best dancer at the Oceanview Ballroom.

I would be anxious all day for the night and a chance to get you to dance with me.  It was a thrill of my lifetime on Earth; to dance with you.

Your voice is sounding better!  I'm serious.  I can hear you singing and it's beautiful.  You are carrying your tune.  Great job!  I love hearing you sing, it makes me know that you are OK.  I can hear singing wherever I am and it makes me feel very happy.

I love you, Jo.

The heating pad won't work for us here in Heaven.  We have no pain when we die, we are free from all pain and illness.  Ed told me about the heating pad.  He thought it was so funny that you got Sue to heat it in the microwave for him.  He was laughing up a storm telling me.

You are so fortunate to be alive on Earth.  Enjoy it.  No need to worry about me or Eddie here, we are fine.  We watch out for you and all the family.

Smile and laugh.  I love hearing you laugh.  It reminds me of the days when we were kids.  You were always so full of life, it was one of your fine qualities that made me fall in love with you.

I love you!

I must get to work, keep singing… it makes me know that you are OK.

Stay with God.

Love,
Ed

Better Days

Dear Ed,

I’m sorry I felt unhappy and I didn’t write back sooner.  I wasn’t feeling too good.  But I’m feeling better now.  Sue has been feeding me coconuts and coconut oil, it’s helping a lot.

I’ve been practicing handwriting every day and it seems to be helping.  The more I practice the better I’ll get.

I love you! I love you!  I love you!  Huh!  I almost forgot to tell you, but my memory is getting better, see the coconuts really work!

I think I saw you at Whole Foods yesterday.  You make me laugh, you give me a little smile and I crack up.    Thanks for making me laugh.

I sat in the parlor with Little Ed today.  I had Susie heat up the heating pad for him.  He didn’t say anything when I gave him the heating pad.  When I came back, he took off, maybe he had to go pee.  I don’t know.

I said to him, it’s so funny, he wanted to go sit down and listen to TV.   I guess but he decided that he’d fly up to the top of the bureau and then he was gone in a big flash like a Genie, coming back and forth whenever he wanted.  I was getting mad.  I didn’t understand until Sue told me how you all are light and we are heavy matter.  Light can go through everything.

You are not going to believe it, I haven’t lost anything in a couple of days.  Could my memory be getting better?  Anyway, Sue hasn’t been as mad with me since I remember where I put my things.

On Sunday I tripped in the yard, the angels must have been watching because I didn’t get hurt very badly.  Just a little scrape on my knee.

I love you!

I hope to see you soon.

I love you very much.

Jo

Writing Letters

Hi Jo,

Your email note made me laugh out loud.  It's OK that you chase me around, it makes me feel special.  Hey, I chased you around all those years, I suppose it's your turn to chase me.

How sweet of you to notice me at Whole Foods.  I love you so much, it's great being able to see you.  I'm happy that we have email so that we can communicate.

I'm glad that you are feeling better.  You should listen to Sue, she really does know what she's doing.  Surprising, isn't it?  She used to cry so much.  I still laugh when I hear anyone repeat how I teased her ... "6 O'Clock, time for Susie to cry..."  then she'd cry.  Oh, that was pretty funny.  Sue is a nice girl; we have fine children, I love them all.

I'm great.  When you get rid of your body and you are just light energy, you never experience pain.  It's too hard to explain.  One day you'll know what I mean and we'll laugh together.  We never know when that day will be so enjoy every minute that you have on Earth because it is awesome in a different way.

On Earth you get to experience the feeling of everything, you have senses that allow you to taste, smell, hear, feel and see.  You can touch things.  You can even pick a flower and smell it while you see the dew on the petals.  It's magical how the senses work.  When we are alive on Earth like you are now, we take our senses for granted.  Enjoy everything on Earth.

I love your sense of humor, Jo.  Laughing is good for the soul, just like music.  Oh, I enjoy hearing you play the piano and look forward to hearing your music, it's very relaxing.

Hand writing a letter is great training for your brain.  Write as much as you can.  Be patient with yourself, relax.  Why don't you try jotting down ideas?  You don't have to write the whole letter at once, if you break it up into pieces, it will be easier for you to complete.

First, write down one word ideas that you want to write to me about.  Then, take each word and add words around it to make a complete sentence.  Before you know it, you'll have written your own letter with out Sue's help.  But, it's OK if you need Sue's help, it seems like it's fun for you when you write letters together.

Well, the bus is running, I have to get to work.

I love you Jo!

Stay with God.

Good Days

Dear Ed,

I missed you yesterday.  I shopped at Whole Foods because I knew you’d be there, you didn’t disappoint me.  You really look handsome.  So, it may appear that I’m chasing you around… well, I AM!

I love you and I love you!!

How are you feeling?

I have a kidney infection and I’m on antibiotics.  My backache is gone just after one day of taking the medicine.

I tried to hand write your letter today.  Susie told me that it is good for me to write.  I’ll write to you later today or tomorrow so that I can practice my writing.

I went looking for a bathing suit but didn’t find one.  It’s getting warmer, I don’t know if I’ll ever get into the pool.  I may not fit into it… HA HA HA.

Have a fun time driving the bus.

I love you!

Stay with God.

Have I told you that I love you?

Hi Ed,

We got the results from the Kidney doctor and I do have a UTI so she’s giving me antibiotics for 5 days.  It will probably make my visions of visitors go away, including you.  Thank goodness we have email and we can still communicate.

I love you!  I almost forgot… no, not really.  I LOVE YOU!!

I’ll get a new pair of shoes as soon as Susie takes me to the shoe store.  Probably on Thursday, they are very expensive shoes, but I’m worth it!

I’m feeling good, but hope to feel much better after I’m done taking the antibiotic.

Our pool is open, but it’s been cold.  Sue tells me that I need a new bathing suit, but I think the 2 I have are fine.  So what if they are 10 sizes too big!  I’ll probably breakdown and buy a new one if I see one that I like for a good price.

Well, dinner is just about ready so I’ll close my note here.

I love you!

I love you!

I love you!

Looking forward to your reply,

Love,

Jo

You Are My Doll

Hi Jo,

I LOVE YOU!!!  Boy, it's nice to be able to tell you these 3 words again.

I enjoyed your email note.  I especially loved reading all those I LOVE YOU's.

I like your cats.  Savita is a very pretty cat.  I can see how much she loves you.  You are the only one she doesn't hiss at!  Fluffy is quite a cat, catching squirrels is tough.  I enjoyed watching the video of her bringing the gift of a squirrel.  She was one proud cat.

I'm happy that you went and had the blood and urine samples taken yesterday.  You have good doctors taking care of you, they'll know exactly what to do to fix you up.

You look absolutely beautiful these days.  You look like you are becoming younger in your appearance.  Maybe when it warms up a little you can walk more?  It might be a good idea to get yourself a really good pair of shoes.  Shoes can wear out and cause you to have a backache.  You know me, I am a fan of taking good care of your feet with the right shoes.  I'm sure Sue will take you to that really nice shoe store in the Mall.  Don't cheap out on the shoes, it's important that you have shoes that give you a good balance.  You get what you pay for.

I thought it was so funny watching Sue get upset over the radio last night... "where is it?!"  Oh, I laughed so hard I was surprised that you didn't hear me.

I think it's a great idea that you let Sue lock up your purse and keep it safe for you until you go out shopping.  Sue is right when she tells you that your visitors can not touch any of your things.  I will see if I can help from my side, to get those visitors to stay away from you.  Remember, even if they do show up, they can't hurt you or steal your things, they are a different form of energy and they can't touch or move stuff that is on Earth.

I told Ed to stop showing himself buried.  He thought it was funny.  You know Eddie, he always had a crazy sense of humor.  He loves you a lot and is really happy to see you doing so well.

Well, time for me to get on the bus and get to work.

I love you, Jo!  You will always be my doll.

Stay with God.

Love and kisses and hugs,

Ed

My Giblets

Dear Ed,

I’m happy to get the email messages from you.  I love you!!!!

About that purse, I have a phobia, I cautiously hid my purse, forgot where I put it, I keep forgetting to hide it in the closet.   It causes quite a ruckus.  I’m glad my losing my purse makes you laugh.  I have a safe that I can probably put some money in and not carry a purse.

I love you… did I tell you that lately?

Today I went and had my giblets… I mean kidneys (ha Ha Ha) tested.  Sue thinks I have either a Urinary tract infection or a problem with my kidneys.  I think my kidneys are fine, everything’s working good.  I’ll let you know the results when we get them.

I’m feeling much better.  I hope I can continue feeling better.

Our cat Fluffy caught a squirrel today, a baby one.  Here’s a video of Shakti catching the squirrel…

Sammy Mammy caught one yesterday.  We have no squirrels in the yard now.  They are good hunters.  Savita, she’s our good old girl, she has no teeth, over the winter she had 16 teeth removed, she’s feeling better now too.  She doesn’t hunt, she just keeps the kittens in line, she hisses good.

Dancing With the Stars is on tonight.  It’s my favorite TV show, it reminds me of when we danced at Wonderland Ballroom when we were kids.  I love you, I loved dancing with you, you were a good dancer.  I love you honey bunch.  We miss having you here.

Did you like my piano playing?  How did you like our singing today?  I think Sue sings good like you, she told me to keep practicing and I’d get really good too.

I’m sending you a picture of my cat, Savita.  She’s a mean cat, but loves she me.

I love you, Ed.

Love and kisses,

Jo

I Love You!

Hi Jo,

Your email note made me feel like old times.  I love you too, I have always loved you and I always will.  You are my Jo!

I love you, Jo.  You can never say those words enough.  I will never get tired of hearing those words come out of your mouth.  Thank you for loving me, I love you just as much.

Susan is a good girl.  She's really worn out and needs a rest. I laugh every time your purse gets misplaced.  Maybe it's time to stop using a purse, it seems to cause most of the problems between you and Susan.

You will never be a phony, Jo.  I think your hair looks nice all the time.  If you like to get it colored, get it colored.  It does make you look younger when you color your hair.  I'll leave it up to you.  I love how you look no matter what, it's YOU that I love for all eternity.

Yes, that was me you saw driving.  Remember, you can only see me and we are only able to communicate through email.  I feel so fortunate to be able to E-Mail you after all these years.

You sing really nice.  I love hearing you sing and play the piano.  Music notes is similar to how the Angels talk, it's how you can communicate with the angels that you are seeing by playing music or singing.  You have a nice voice.

I love seeing our Great Grandson, thanks for the picture.  Now I can really brag, he is such a cute boy.  He looks like our Grandson. He sure is a smart boy; I love his little laugh, it's so big.

Have a good day and keep singing, you have a great voice!

Stay with God.

Love,
Ed

My Little Baseball

Dear Ed,

We have to walk a distance apart, but you will always be in my heart.  Pretty corny, huh?

Susan drives me crazy, so don’t worry about it.

I think I saw you on the bus that takes you to heaven, were you driving?

I want to say I love you more because if I don’t tell you, someone else will.

I LOVE YOU!!

I wish I could have taken you to one of the dance halls, because people can’t dance.

I was wondering, how do you like my hair?  Should I keep getting it colored?  Or does it make me a phony?

My new favorite song is “Life is Wonderful” by Jason Mraz.  You would sing this so well, “… La La La La Life is Wonderful…”  So, how did you like the song when we sang it out loud?   Ha Ha!

I wish you could see the calendar with our Great Grandson.  I’ll ask our Grandson to send you an email with a copy of the calendar so you can see how cute he is.  You would love him to pieces… I do.   Here’s a picture of him, he’s my little baseball!

I love you!

Stay with God.

Jo

You Are My Angel

Dear Jo,

Thank you for the picture of our wedding day, it was the best day of my life.  You are so beautiful and even more beautiful now. I'm happy to see that you are feeling better.

I'm doing well here in Heaven.  I'm glad that Susan was able to get the email set up so that we can communicate.  It's the only method that will work so that we can exchange messages.

We won't be able to talk to each other in person.  The reason is our bodies are different.  Your body is solid and mine is light.  I can only see you and give you different signs, like a song that might come on the radio and then you think of me.  You'll see me one day when your ready to come up to Heaven.

In the meantime, you can talk to me.  I hear you.  We are not able to see each other and have a conversation like we did when I was on Earth with you.  I love you, Jo.  You are my angel and I am your angel.

Our Great Grandson is a true gem... he is smart just like you.  He definitely inherited your good genes.  I enjoyed seeing him dance in the video, he is a good dancer, just like his Great Grammy Jo.

I am always with you, especially when you think of me.  Even if you can't see me, I'm here, watching over you and protecting you from harm.

Susan does all that she can to help you, she loves you very much.  She's a good girl.  Be patient with her, you know how easy she can cry when she gets overwhelmed.

Thank you for the note.  I was so excited when I saw that the email connection works between Heaven and Earth, now we can send each other love notes!

I love you Jo and I always will.

Stay with God,

Love,
Ed

Where are you?

Dear Ed,

Where are you?

How’s everything?  I hope you could send me a note or give me a call, I am looking forward to seeing you.  I hope you have time to come and visit me.

I’ve been thinking about you and would like to have you come to Billerica.

Here’s a present for you to help you to remember the best day of our life.

Our Great Grandson is a living angel.  You have to see him, he dances and does the rumba and we have a movie that you can see it.

He’s such an unbelievable boy and I’m not just saying it because he’s mine.  He’s got smart brains, he does sign language and taught me how to say “more.”  I just couldn’t get over it.  He takes after me… HA HA HA. (laughing out loud.)

Write back when you get a chance.  I’ve been eating more dark greens and feeling better.

Stay with God.

I love you!

Jo

Welcome Home to Heaven Party... NOT YET!

Dear Jo,

I love you and I always will.  You are the ONLY one for me.

I'm sorry that I seem to ignore you at the party's that you have been attending, but it's not your time.  I am waiting for you... I will be the first one you see at your big Welcome Home to Heaven party, when you are driven to Heaven in a Limo... that's when you'll really get to see me and be with me.

Not right now, OK?  I am still crazy about you and love the feeling that you give me when you notice me, just like always.

Relax.  Enjoy your good health and our kids, all of them love you.  Our Great Grandson is a joy, I wish I could hug him, can you hug him so that I can experience it through you?

Eddie is here with me, he loves hearing you play the piano.  I do too, your music fills me with joy.

Our Susie is doing the best that she can, be nice to her, she loves you very much.  You should really eat more dark leafy vegetables like she tries to get you to do, it will help you to feel stronger.

Your time for your Welcome Home to Heaven Party hasn't come, but when it is your time, the party will be the BEST party you have ever attended.

Stay with God.

Love,

Your Ed
My mom believes that she is seeing my dad in the supermarkets and at parties that she has in her mind.  My brother Ed who passed in 2001 visits her a lot, he sleeps in her recliner.  I try to get her to eat dark greens, but she has the tastebuds of a 5 year old, everything is icky.  Maybe if my dad tells her to eat them, she will force herself.

Not long ago I told her that when she does die one day, when her Earth Suit wears out, there will be a HUGE party, welcoming her home to Heaven.  I told her that my dad will be there and all of her family and friends who have passed.  I told her that all the Angels will be at the party and they'll sing her favorite song to her.

My dad was an Airport Limousine driver.  He loved driving people back and forth from their trips, business folks, folks going on vacation.  I told my mom that my dad is responsible for taking the newly deceased and teaching them how to live in Heaven.  My dad then drives the bus to heaven.

My mom wants to get on the buses that she sees, she tries to get in line but can't.   She wants me to get on the bus with her and go to the party.  I told her that I don't want to go with her because I have more living to do... once you get on the Bus to Heaven, it's over, you can't come back to Earth in the same Suit.

This Love Letter post from my dad is an email that I will send to my mom.  This is the first love letter.  I will post follow ups.

Peace out!
